Might sound courageous, but with their award-winning technology and some help from Avalon, Spectral Engines will probably be just that. Founded in 2014, Spectral Engines is a relatively new growth company, but has already accomplished a strong status as a world leading developer and innovator of spectral sensor technologies. The partnership with Avalon started from Spectral Engines’ need to renew and clarify their brand, starting from the basics.
“At first I felt like we weren’t necessary ready for a full-blown partnership with a marketing agency. Now I’m happy we did it anyway – we’ve reached many milestones as a brand and built an ever-developing success story of us together with Avalon”, says Janne Suhonen, CCO of Spectral Engines.
The brand strategy development started with a workshop in spring 2017 clarifying the core message and defining the ideal brand profile of Spectral Engines.
The process was then kicked off with a new visual image including overall design of the Spectral Engines website, a slogan, strategic planning of social media and a marketing automation system, including webinar automation campaigns and newsletters. So far three webinars have been held this year, and more are on their way in 2018. Text design and execution has included translations, articles and news as well as concept design for overall improvement of textual concepts. All the content for Spectral Engines is done solely in English due to its position as a rapidly growing global company.
Avalon also designs Spectral Engines’ trade fair stands as well as the visual looks of manuals, whitepapers and presentations. The experts working at Spectral Engines are extremely sought-after as speakers in various industry events, and well-made presentations with strong visuals help spread Spectral Engines’ core message and strong brand image world-wide.
“We have a mutual understanding of what we want to do and how to further develop our brand. Avalon helped Spectral Engines with event planning and execution in November, when Spectral Engines’ new product NIRONE Device was launched and the Spectral Engines new headquarters officially opened.
